Friends want Lily in rehab

Friends of Lily Allen have spoke out about the health of the star, saying that she needs to go to rehab to seek help.
The pop star caused controversy at the recent GQ Awards, and friends have become so concerned over her behaviour that they have asked her to consider entering rehab.
One source said: "We all think it's time she considered rehab. She drinks too much, then feels depressed. But she just says there's nothing wrong with her. Her attitude is: 'I like to let my hair down and have a good time, who doesn't?'
"She's now saying she wants to move to LA for a fresh start, but we think she's just running away and needs to get help now."

Lily Allen has been condemned for glamorising guns by wearing a necklace with a machine gun pendant.
The Smile hitmaker - who previously met with London mayor Boris Johnson to outline proposals to reduce knife crime - was photographed wearing the gold pendant on Friday.
But the choice of jewellery has outraged anti-violence groups, who have branded Allen "irresponsible".
Lyn Costello, from anti-violence group MAMAA, says: "She is glamorising the use of guns. It's totally irresponsible.
"She's a role model and people look up to her. The last thing we want is people looking at her and thinking guns are fashionable.
"I'm really disappointed in her. She had a meeting with the Mayor saying she's worried about knife crime but is she not worried about gun crime too.
"If she's really worried about violent crime then she shouldn't wear a necklace that promotes guns."

Lily Allen is amongst the guest stars on the new Wiley album, "I See Clear", according to reports.
The British pop star sings on one of the tracks, which the UK rapper describes as a "scorcher".
Mark Ronson and Hot Chip are said to be amongst the other collaborators on the album, which is preceded by a single, "Summertime".
Speaking about the hook-up, Wiley explained: "I always wanted to work with Lily since I heard 'Alright, Still'.
"It was weird 'cos when I listened to it I used to sit there giggling thinking 'this girl's cool'. But then I realised she wasn't just cool, she'd sold a million records.
"I respected her even more after that", said Wiley, who added: "The track we've done is a scorcher."
"I See Clear" is out on October 13.

Lily Allen’s new album will be released on February 9 2009.
The ‘Smile’ singer revealed on her blog her LP – which is provisionally titled 'Stuck on the Naughty Step' – will hit the shops next year, but assured fans she will be releasing new material before then.
She wrote: "My new album will be released on the 9th of Feb 2009. I know it's a while away, but there will be bits and bobs flying around before then, I'm shooting a video (for viral release) in the next couple of weeks, to keep you entertained."
Lily explained she is determined to release the album with "integrity", which means she is keen to have creative input into the artwork and marketing of it.
She wrote: "I am so excited, were getting all the artwork and stuff done and coming up with new and interesting ideas. I am trying really hard to do this album with integrity and I want you all to know that it has been thought about by me, not just some thrown together last minute industry bullshizz."
The 23-year-old singer also took the opportunity to launch a scathing attack on the music industry.
After moaning she was being forced to record some special songs as "some websites" would only feature her album if they could offer exclusive tracks, she said she was concerned about "putting out sub-standard stuff."
She ranted: "I always thought an album was a body of work in itself. You take it or leave it. You wouldn't say to a painter, ‘Yeah I love the naked ladies, but would you mind painting their hair blonde instead of brown, and making their tits a bit bigger?’ or, ‘The trees are really pretty, but a few more leaves perhaps?’ "

Lily Allen has outed herself as a secret science geek, after correctly predicting an experiment under the French-Swiss border wouldn't bring about the end of the world.
Scientists at the CERN facility unveiled a particle accelerator called the Large Hadron Collider on September 10.
The machine can recreate the 'big bang' and experts hope it will answer important questions about atoms, which everything in the world is made up of. Some scientists feared the experiment on September 10 would create a series of small black holes, which would destroy the world - but Allen wasn't buying the hysetria.
The singer was on hand on September 9 to allay fears through a posting on her MySpace.com page. She cryptically wrote, "If these wormholes appear I will personally eat the hat I was given for my first birthday before I received it".
Jaime sticks up for Lily!

Jaime Winstone has spoken out publicly for the first time defending her friend Lily Allen following the furore over her behaviour at the GQ Awards last week.
The actress was reported to have had a blazing row with Allen, after the singer announced at the bash that Winstone was to marry her brother Alfie.
However, Jaime said the rumours of a bust-up couldn't be further from the truth.
Talking to Mirror.co.uk last night at the Camp Rock premiere on London's South Bank, Jaime said there wasn't a problem between her and Lily at all.
She said: "At the end of the day, Lily is and outspoken girl and she can say whatever she wants. She's got an amazing album coming out so she's got nothing to worry about."
She also said the stories about Lily falling out with Elton were completely untrue too - as Lily herself stated afterwards on her myspace blog.
She continued: "Her and Elton are really good friends and there was no big story there at all. She's wicked!"

Elton John scrapps tour plans with Lily

Elton John has scrapped plans to go on tour and duet with Lily Allen following their high-profile recent fall-out, he has revealed.
The pair were joint hosts at the GQ Awards last week but ended up exchanging insults onstage during the event.
Sir Elton has now insisted any future collaborations are off, while Lily has refused to apologise for her antics or drunkeness.
In an online posting on her MySpace, she commented: "I drank the free champagne, how awful of me."
The pop veteran has now responded. "I was thinking about asking her to tour with me and maybe even do a duet. Obviously that won't be happening", he said.
