"Oh no, it's gone!" Lily Allen says with mock tragedy, looking down at the black hair now lying on the floor. She bends over, jokingly trying to scoop it up, as if she's made a horrible mistake. Dressed in a casual black-and-white leopard print dress, her legs and feet bare, Allen spontaneously decided to chop off a good three inches of her locks at today's photo shoot. Laughter erupts from everyone present, and she stands upright in the mirror to take a good look.
Here they are! Lily Allen is seen on the set of her new music video for 'The Fear' in London! Lily looks amazing with colorful balloons surrounding her, and she looks great with her hair extentions! Lily Allen calls on her actor father Keith to cheer her up when she's feeling down in the dumps.
Keith Allen admits his daughter hardly ever gets in touch with him - unless she is feeling depressed.
He says, "When she's not, she certainly doesn't need to speak to me. That's the way it is."
Allen also insists his outspoken daughter is happy to learn from her mistakes. He adds, "She's very singular and would rather learn by failure than by being steered through by some PR person. She has to learn that sometimes it's better to be quiet."

Stars including Leona Lewis, Hayden Panettiere and Lily Allen were among those honoured at the 2008 Glamour Women of the Year Awards in New York.
The Glamour magazine event, held in Manhattan on November 10, saw Lewis crowned best U.K. Solo Artist, while Heroes star Panettiere was hailed as Newcomer of the Year.
Other celebrities to receive a nod at the ceremony included actress Kate Beckinsale who was presented with the Best Film Actress award, supermodel Kate Moss, who was named Entrepreneur of the Year, and Mark Ronson, crowned Man of the Year.

Lily Allen was left quite upset after saturday's X-Factor liveshow, as she posted on her MySpace-blog.
Lily posted: "Right, i think we were all a little shocked right? Laura didn't deserve to go in my opinion, neither did Ruth (my personal favourite). I've been left feeling quite upset by the whole of tonights show. I can not believe that week after weak, Daniel the pool man is still in, people are quite mad, I'm sure.
Now, I don't know what people think on here, and I understand that she was ill, but out of respect to Laura, I think Diana Vickers should have to sing a Mariah Carey song next week, i'm sure she's capable of rising to the challenge, I just don't think it's fair otherwise. Everyone needs to be judged in the same way or the whole thing becomes meaningless. Let me know your thoughts ....................lily x"

Lily Allen slams writer!

Lily Allen has entered an online argument with a journalist after she criticised a press release on the star.
Guardian columnist Marina Hyde wrote a blog which ridiculed a statement comparing the singer to Wordsworth and Alan Bennett.
Singer Lily- who releases her second album It's Not Me... It's You next year- then replied in comments under the article.
She said: "i think that what you wrote earlier was thoughtless and uncalled for… It's quite obvious the part of his press release you referred to was "tongue in cheek".
"As we all know, it would be ridiculous to compare me to Wordsworth or Bennett and your poking fun at his reference was cheap, really."
She continued: "Well anyway, i hope we can put this all behind us and that you can move on to writing something else that makes other people feel stupid, and you feel more clever. Lily Allen."
Later in the online discussion- after a reply from writer Hyde- a comment from Lily which was posted at 3am was intriguingly deleted by moderators.
Then the LDN singer got personal alleging that the blogger had an affair with Piers Morgan and warning: "I might start it as a debate on my myspace blog, there are 250,000 subscribers to that blog."

Lily Allen was left in tears after hearing about the recent phone prank scandal involving British comic Russell Brand.
Brand quit his job as a BBC radio presenter earlier this week following outrage over a stunt in which he and fellow broadcaster Jonathan Ross recorded voicemail messages for Fawlty Towers star Andrew Sachs. In the calls, the pair made lewd comments about Brand's fling with 78-year-old Sachs' granddaughter.
And the Smile hitmaker insists she was devastated by the saga that eventually cost Brand his job and saw Ross suspended for 12 weeks without pay.
She tells British publication The London Paper, "I cried all yesterday. I didn't think it was too offensive. It wasn't the funniest thing in the world but it wasn't that bad."
Allen also admits to having made similar prank calls herself.
She adds, "I make these piss-taking calls all the time. I once called up Kate Nash's PR and said I was from a mouthwash company. I said we wanted Kate to front the brand. They told me they'd put it to Kate and get back to me."
